One thing my husband loves for me to make for him is homemade apple pie! Once the fresh apples starting hitting the stores, it becomes a request that I hear often. My two youngest kids are just as much an apple pie vulture as he is for it. I had a delicious apple pie recipe but lost it. It’s a good thing I did because I have since found an apple pie recipe that is even more mouth-watering good than the first one. I hope your family likes it too.

This southern homemade apple pie recipe is simple to make and only gets better tasting as it sits. I’m confident you’ll become the hit of any potluck dinner you may be attending this summer too.
Please share with us your favorite apple pie recipe in the comments. I’m always willing to see if there is a better alternative. Although, I do believe this one would get the first-place prize still. (I don’t normally say this about any of my cooking with the exception of my meatloaf, which I’ll share with you soon.)

Wow this does look so good! I’ve not made an apple pie with red delicious apples, I’d like to try it!
I hope that you like it. It has become my husband’s favorite kind of apple pie.
