I am always on the hunt to create quick and easy recipes for my family during the week for dinner. That’s why the idea of giving EveryPlate a try was quite appealing to me. This system has them deliver the food items and recipes that I need to create simple meals for my family.

Note they offer Premium meals that do add $4.99 per serving to the cost. But these are meals that are equivalent to eating at a fancy restaurant. You’d still save money versus buying the ingredients at the grocery store or going out to eat.
Our Review of EveryPlate

My kids were thrilled to have the opportunity to try EveryPlate because it gave us the chance to try NEW recipes at a reasonable price. Plus, it saved my oldest son and me a trip to the grocery store. (To him, that was a huge saving alone because that gave us back an extra two and a half hours in our week.) Since directions came with this kit for each meal and a full breakdown of what was needed from the box for each recipe, it was simple enough for my oldest son to “take charge” and “guide me” through the cooking process of these recipes.
(Just a side note: It’s a very well-known fact that I am NOT the cook in this household. UNLESS it is quick and EASY, you can bank I’m not the one who did the cooking!)
So, for us to be able to try new recipes and garnish NEW recipe ideas to try out in the future, was an exciting experience for us. Once we looked through the app at other future meals that we can try out, we are definitely eager to continue using EveryPlate.
Considering, I break down and eat out a lot because I’m sick of eating the same ole’ foods that quite honestly are JUNK. My oldest son feels it saves us money because the meals per person start out at $4.99 a serving. (Going out to eat is anywhere from $10-20 a serving.) The older he gets the more he notices the cost of buying groceries at a store too. Since we add everything up on a calculator as we get items, he sees how these items we get for specific recipes add up too.
I have lost count of the times we have purchased products for a recipe and only used them once. This is where EveryPlate comes in handy, as they provide just the right amount of ingredients required for their recipe. This is especially beneficial for me as I don’t try out new recipes frequently, resulting in significant savings.
All of the ingredients are FRESH and packaged beautifully. I don’t have to worry about items causing harm to my family because of allergies.

Hi! Love the idea! I wish something like this opens up near us it would definitely save us grocery trips and even buying and hoarding !
I’m surprised to hear this isn’t something offered where you live. However, with your entrepreneurial family, I can see you all creating one of these services. 😉

My EveryPlate Review; I have often wondered about these mailed menu planners. For me the cost is just too costly, I would rather shop for the food myself.
I thought so too until I tried the meal kit. Then I saw the value overall of using it when you take the ingredients individually and consider the number of times you’ll use them. Now, if you’re a cook typically and great at planning out meals, then NO this is NOT the program for you. However, if you’re like me and struggle with cooking, coming up with decent meal ideas, and want to break the habit of eating out…. then it’s definitely worth doing.

I am a good cook and have no trouble making meals. I also cannot afford this kind of service. Glad it works for you.
