Colleen Hoover did not disappoint with her Hopeless series. Little did I realise this was an older book series she had published. But despite that, I’m glad I took the time to read the Hopeless Series by Colleen Hoover.

About Hopeless Series
The Hopeless series is one filled with tons of drama. It follows the love story of Sky and Holder. Both of these characters have been through life-altering experiences. As such, they have a bond that has surpassed the test of time and, to some extent, reason.
Sky has to face life-shattering truths that would shake anyone to the core. Holder does a remarkable job supporting Sky throughout her adventure for the truth.
One part of this story that was hard to swallow was when she confronted her father. I confronted my abuser in court, but I never fully got to tell him to his face all the things I felt he deserved to hear. But I did like how Colleen killed him off in the book!
Yes, this is one of the things I struggle with daily. I know I’m called to love my enemies, but I have yet to get to that point with my ex-stepfather. I do pray about that constantly. So far, I haven’t gotten to the point where I can lay it to rest fully.
Meanwhile, on the flip side of things, Sky has to support Holder with the news he gets through this journey.

Losing Hope
Losing Hope is their love story shared from Holder’s point of view. The story hasn’t changed very many details in their love story. However, it changes it enough to make it worth reading it.
Finding Cinderella
Finding Cinderella was the storyline about Holder’s best friend connecting with Six, who happens to be Sky’s best friend. Their love story certainly started with quite an intriguing story. This story is short and sweet to read.
Finding Perfect
This story made me happiest to read. I believe that is because I gave my oldest child up for adoption. There were sooooooo many days I wondered if I made the right choice. I know I did because she is a part of my life now, but I remember the sleepless nights and the constant unanswered questions. I could completely relate to Six throughout this book.
The entire Hopeless series Colleen Hoover wrote is worth taking the time to get and read. I devoured this series in less than a week. I couldn’t wait to get to the next page on them. If I wasn’t already a Colleen Hoover fan, you can say I would have become one.

My favorite Colleen Hoover book! I loved Hopeless and Losing Hope was really neat to see Holder’s perspective, too. I haven’t read the other two books yet, but they sound really interesting!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
