Our home has been hit with some odd virus that was able to cause us to be couch-bound, yet it wasn’t COVID. It only lasted for a few days thank goodness, but we did get to watch a LOT of TV during that time frame. There are quite a few February series and movies to add to your watch list this week.

Movies To Add to Your Watch List

On Netflix

After, After We Collided, and After We Fell were all romances that were nice to watch. I wouldn’t say they are as good as the Twilight series, but it did make me think of those series. The couple’s romance story is certainly challenging. However, I didn’t really feel like it was LOVE that brought them together.

Fatherhood is a strong family comedy movie that will make you laugh and cry in delight all at the same time. I will never forget the one time I visited my dad, and he was totally single. That was one of my favorite times with him, but you could tell he was totally lost on how to be the best parent. This movie reminded me of my dad’s uncomfortable period with me during that visit.

The other three movies we watched that were all good and worth mentioning were:

You Get Me, Resort to Love, and Confessions of the Invisible Girl.

YouTube has a lot more movies on it that we can watch for FREE than I knew about till this past weekend.

We watched the adorable romantic movie called An Hour Behind. I think it was a bit drawn out, but it was still a good movie. We also watched Monte Carlo, which was a funny teen movie to watch.

Pure Flix

It wouldn’t be an awesome TV viewing weekend without at least watching something from Pure Flix. This weekend we watched the touching movie Discarded Things. Discarded Things is a movie that should have a lot more attention than it tends to get!

Series to Add to Your WatchList

Reacher on Amazon Prime Video is an outstanding series! It’s full of action! If you’re a Patrick Swayze fan, then the main character may remind you of him. We soaked up this series in ONE night, and we’re eager for Season 2.

Sweet Magnolias Season 2 is out on Netflix. I couldn’t wait to watch it! It did not disappoint. I am eager to see Season 3 when it comes out.

I’ve fallen in love with the new series The Gilded Age on HBO Max. If you like watching the series Downtown Abby, then you are sure to like this new series. The only problem is HBO Max is making us wait till Monday at 9 PM EST to see a new show in the series.

Of course, you may already know from seeing my Instagram posts, that I’m a fan of the Yellowstone series. However, the series 1883 on Paramount Plus is pretty good too.

These movies and shows kept us well entertained while we were sick. Hopefully, they’ll keep you entertained as well in your home.
