Growing up, Friday night football was something I truly looked forward to attending. It was the one night that I got to hang out with my friends and cheer on our high school football team. I was interested in watching God.Family.Football. because of the memories those nights provided my friends and me. Plus, I appreciate an inspirational true story.

After retiring for 30 years, Duron coaches Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, La. The team, once a high school football powerhouse with 14 state championships in the last 20 years, is struggling after its worst season in school history. The series focuses on the 2022 high school football season at Evangel Christian Academy, which holds the record for sending more football players to the NFL and NCAA Division 1 college football programs than any other high school in the state. I found this docuseries to be highly entertaining. The series was portrayed in a way that made me feel like I was watching the real story of a football family. It was an emotional experience that left me feeling hopeful.
