Hemlock by Kiersten Modglin Book Review

Kiersten Modglin’s writing has captivated me, and I couldn’t create my list of 24 books to read in 2024 without including one of her compelling works. After delving into “Hemlock,” I was thoroughly impressed and could see why she’s a favorite author of mine.

My Review of Hemlock

Hemlock was a captivating book, but it didn’t quite capture the essence of Kiersten’s usual style and didn’t have a major plot twist at the end. While it had shocking moments, the author gave away more clues than usual, slightly diminishing the surprise factor.

The characters in this book are truly captivating, especially Tucker. Kiersten’s seamless transition between past and present kept me thoroughly engaged. I couldn’t stop reading and finished the entire book over the weekend!

I’m still a huge fan of Kiersten’s! This just wasn’t one of my top picks from her book. I still state that Dream Job, Becoming Mrs. Abbott, and, of course, Kiersten Modglin’s Arrangement Novel Series are my top picks.
