About The Best Christmas Pageant Ever Movie

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever Movie Review 1

The Herdman kids are absolutely the worst. They lie, they steal, they bul ly…and they’ve hijacked the town Christmas pageant. Directed by Dallas Jenkins  (“The Chosen”) and based on the international bestseller by Barbara Robinson, THE  BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER follows six siblings who sneak into church search ing for snacks and walk away with the lead roles in the town pageant. Grace (Judy  Greer) is directing the performance for the very first time; she and her daughter  Beth (Molly Belle Wright) and husband Bob (Pete Holmes) are less than amused. But  the play’s mischievous stars might unwittingly teach a community the true meaning  of Christmas. Featuring Lauren Graham. Screenplay by Ryan Swanson and Platte F.  Clark & Darin McDaniel.

The newest film from Lionsgate and Kingdom Story  Company is based on the beloved children’s book classic book. As of November  2023, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson has sold more than 7  million copies since its publication in 1972.

My The Best Christmas Pageant Ever Movie Review

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever Movie Review 2

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever movie is one that my kids were quick to want to take part in reviewing with me. It became a family event worth remembering.

Zeva stated that this movie was funny and entertaining. She felt it provided some insightful food for thought.

I thought the introduction of this movie was a bit drawn out, but Zeva argued that every part of it was needed to fully showcase how horrible those kids were to the community and why the outcome was so impactful.

This movie reminds us that we all have a role to play in God’s well-planned plans. You never know who will share his love for us. We are each born with a gift to use, and sometimes, it takes someone else having faith in us for us to be brave enough to use those gifts.

I felt confident that I would be a teacher from the time I was in the fifth grade the second time around (the first time I was around, I spent more time-fighting in school and in life to care about school work). While I never became a teacher in a classroom, I have homeschooled our three kids. I have taught many people how to do many things in my lifetime. When we get a more robust Internet, I intend to create courses and/or do one-on-ones to teach people things.

But I bring that up because my math teacher, during my second attempt at fifth grade, believed in me enough to take the time to ensure my troublesome ways didn’t continue. She reshaped my life’s outcome. So, while I feel most people will focus on the children’s complete 180 in behavior, I was focused on the woman who helped make that happen for them. She believed in them when no one else did. She didn’t give up on them despite everyone around her encouraging her to do so.

For me, that was the best part of this movie. However, there are many hidden messages throughout the funny, family-friendly film. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever movie is a true holiday hit worth seeing in the theaters and as a family. It will leave you with plenty of things to discuss over dinner afterward.
