I was reading a blog post from a fellow blogger friend of mine called Reasons Your Friends or Family Don’t Support Your Blog and it got my mental mind spinning. I know that some of the things she brought up in her post hold true. I wanted to address them a bit more here and go over how you can support blogger friends for free.

What is a Blog Really?

A blog is a place online where someone shares their thoughts and opinions on various topics in hopes of their viewers gaining something from their time spent there. A blog can also open doors to the creator creating printables, online courses, and so much more.

If a blog is handled correctly, then that blogger can turn this hobby into a fully thriving online business. But like any business, they need to have supporters of their business.

But this doesn’t happen overnight and without some help! There are so many facets to making a blog seen online. It’s not as simple as writing well-written SEO-filled content and hitting publish. We also have to market our content online ourselves.

I know for me personally, that speaks volumes! It helps provide me with validation that my efforts are not in vain. When friends and family support me, I feel more confident in continuing on this journey.

• Be supportive of the fact that they see blog post ideas in their heads at the weirdest times. So, they may pull out their phones and create a note at the oddest of times.
