So many times I get questioned on how I can still have my faith in God after all that I’ve endured in life. But the funny thing is I don’t know how I would have made it through everything I have gone through WITHOUT my faith in God. So, when I was given the chance to review the Case for Heaven movie for Pure Flix I was eager to watch it.

My Review of the Case for Heaven Movie

This movie brings up some great questions that many of us ask ourselves.

What happens next? What happens if I close my eyes and don’t open them again in this world?

I have always felt ready for death because I do believe in there being a heaven and a place where God is waiting for me along with my fellow family of believers. I believe that all of my worries, illnesses, and hardships will be over.

Yet, I also want to be sure that I make a mark on this world while I’m here. I do want to have a positive impact on others’ lives. Hence the sole purpose behind my blogging journey. I want to help others to see that life does go on and can be beautiful despite whatever hell you’ve endured in your life. I want you to know for a fact that you do not have to go through any of it alone.

I enjoyed hearing about others’ experiences with building a relationship with God. I found it enlightening to hear other people’s stories.

It was equally as nice to hear that even those who have faith, have doubted what they believed too. This is especially true when you go through hard times in life such as abuse, losing a loved one too early, financial hardships, and so much more. It’s easy to lose faith and question everything, but I have yet to have a time when God hasn’t revealed himself to me in some form or fashion. I do hang on to the fact that God does use everything evil for his good.

In this movie, The Case for Christ: the 4 E’s that support the case for Christ: Execution, Early Reports, Empty Tomb, and Eyewitness. Execution (Christ was truly dead after the crucifixion); Rose from the dead (Early reports within months of execution from those who witnessed it); Empty tomb (opponents of Jesus even admitted it was empty, and tried to explain away why it was empty); Eyewitness (9 ancient sources, inside and outside the New Testament, about the encounter with Risen Christ).

There are plenty of ways we can showcase that Christ exists. This movie does a remarkable job of doing this. I’m not going to say it’s a movie that will easily hold your attention, but if you’re truly seeking answers then I do feel it’s a great start to getting them.
