I have been in the blogging world since 2012. I started out blogging from the heart and sharing personal aspects of my life with the world. I got away from doing that when I started working with companies doing sponsored content. I have found that over the past couple of years that my love of blogging doesn’t come from making thousands of dollars a month with it. Even though, I did start to do that with my old blog. I have found that my love of blogging comes from sharing my life experiences with you and making real life connections. It is always my hope that my life experiences will help someone else.

Is blogging from the heart underrated? Are we as #bloggers missing out? #blogging #bloggingtips #sharinglifesmoments

What does it mean to blog from the heart?

For me personally, blogging from the heart means to share personal hard core information that may not be overly comfortable to share, but yet can have a positive impact on someone else. It means being willing to basically be naked in front of everyone in a verbal tense.

Now here’s the kicker for me, I haven’t been overly willing to do that. I’ve written informative posts, but they haven’t dived into sharing much personal stuff/feelings anymore. As a result, blogging no longer holds much appeal for me.

I have discussed this in detail with my family and they are fine with me sharing information again. They rather missed me doing it since I’m a far better writer than I am a speaker. I can write out what I’m thinking and feeling and everyone can get on the same page a heck of a lot faster. In fact, when Del and I first started dating way back when he handed me a five subject notebook and told me to just write. I filled up five subject notebooks like they were candy. He continued to feed them to my itching fingers because it allowed us the chance to fully communicate without major arguments. In those notebooks, I shed all of my thoughts and feelings and clearly expressed myself.

On my old blog, I feel I did the same thing. I reread some of my posts on there yesterday, and I can see why it was extremely more popular than this blog. I wrote from my heart. I was vulnerable. I was a real person. I wasn’t some writer just spitting out facts and boring information about things and products.

Going Back to Writing From the Heart

I have laid out a blogging content editorial calendar for this month, and I hope I get the chance to actually sit down and write out these posts on my mind. I want to share my knowledge and hope it makes a difference with someone’s life. I hope they learn from my horrible mistakes and life challenges. I hope to see more marriage thrive and grow. It is my hearts desire that someone who has lived through sexual abuse will remember that they are worthy of having a healthy sex life with their spouses.

Can You Do Blogging From the Heart AND Be Profitable?

The quick answer is yes! In fact, you may actually make more money with blogging! While I had hoped to do that with this blog, and still may, it’s no longer my first objective. I want to blog with a passion! I hope you’ll appreciate it.

I want to gain more connections and lasting friendships with people who can relate to the content I share. So, if you have particular questions that I may be able to answer for you, please don’t hesitate to email me.

Do you find that blogging from the heart is a better way to handle this whole blogging world?

We appreciate every share we get because it helps this blog grow! Thank you in advance.
