The Sound of Freedom movie is a movie that I hope everyone takes the time to watch it. As a parent, it is a solid reminder of how quickly things can change for our children and us. We must be diligent about what we allow our kids to do and who we trust them to be with.

My Review of Sound of Freedom Movie

Disclaimer: This film is rated PG-13 and has highly mature subject matter, but everything is shown in as tasteful and honorable a way as possible.
Moms, this is an important film to bring your older children, friends, small group,
and more to this July 4th week. Everyone needs to see this film!
Sound of Freedom movie is a heart-wrenching yet important film that adults and older children should watch. It opens the viewer’s eyes to the realities of child trafficking and the sexual crimes they endure. Child Trafficking is much bigger & more widespread than we can wrap our head around. It’s horrifying!
As a sexual abuse survivor, it was hard to watch some of the scenes in this movie. However, I felt more pain for these kids because they were taken from their homes and families and STRANGERS used them for sex. They were sold to VARIOUS people a day! A day!
My childhood was horrendous, but these kids have endured a nightmare that so many people don’t know anything about. I knew this issue existed, but I had no clue HOW big of an issue it was in our country let alone around the world.
The Sound of Freedom movie does it’s best to portray the realities of human trafficking in an educational manner. It does give off a documentary feel. I had to watch in spurts due to the material covered. But it’s worth the time to watch it!

Trafficking is something awful but we should have an increased awareness of it. Thanks for linking up with #DreamTeam
I’m glad that you agree it’s important for us to discuss this topic and make people more aware.
I admit, I have wanted to watch this, but have been really nervous about it too. I know it will be hard to watch. I’ve looked into this topic before and it’s horrible to hear how much trafficking happens, and to what extent.
I don’t know if the event is still happening, but I’m featuring your article tomorrow at the Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop to highlight the awareness of this movie.
Thank you for your review.
