My Review of My Penguin Friend Movie
My Penguin Friend movie is a touching tale about the most unlikely friendships. The first part of this movie tore my heart out, but after that, it was a pleasure to see the friendship grow and thrive between João and DinDim. I liked how DinDim impacted more than just João.
The fact that it’s a true story makes this movie all the sweeter to watch. In my opinion, it is a good family movie. It inspires you and reminds you of the impact one being can have on several lives.
Animals truly have the power to heal broken hearts. To this day, I still do not know where I’d be if I didn’t get Tripp, my horse when I did. I had to train him daily, rain or shine because he was a young colt when I got him. Not to mention, I had to ensure I got to where he was staying at the time which was almost a mile there on a back slippy dirt road. Taking care of him and building my relationship with him allowed me to open my heart and soul again to the world.
My Penguin Friend movie reminds me of the younger days when I first got Tripp and how we had to build trust between each other. Not to mention, teaching him how to behave was an adventure, too.
João doesn’t necessarily teach DinDim a lot of things, but he does get him to respond to him in a calm and polite manner. DinDim is full of personality and truly makes this movie entertaining to watch. DinDim also got along with everyone, not just João. In a way, it felt like he was the neighborhood pet. The bond they shared and how he continued to come back for his visits was a sight to behold.
Overall, I would recommend that families watch My Penguin Friend movie. It showcases that we can have relationships with all kinds of animals and people. Barriers are sometimes meant to be broken.
