I was eager to watch the Legacy Peak movie because it reminded me of another set of movies that I totally like. The other reason why is because as a child who has been a part of blended families more than once, I could relate to the whole situation.

My Review of Legacy Peak Movie Review
I expected the Legacy Peak movie to be a comedy judging from the trailer. It did have a few funny scenes in it. However, it had more seriousness to it than I expected.
With that being said, I did still find this movie worth review time. I feel it’s a movie that families can enjoy watching together.
This movie is about keeping the faith when things get hard and overcoming fears. I remember what it’s like to go through hard times in life and find it hard to maintain my faith. I doubted God existed. I doubted everything!
Jason and the kids were challenged by various obstacles throughout the movie. Jason maintained his faith and showed the kids how much they mattered to him. One of the biggest fears kids have of their parents’ marrying someone new is that they won’t matter to their soon-to-be stepparent. I appreciated how this movie made it clear that Jason needed to get their approval before they could even consider getting married.
I wish my mom would have followed that bit of advice before she married two husbands, but you don’t know what you don’t know. While this movie isn’t really about divorced couples remarrying, I do think it’s an important message to share with the world. Kids can sense things that adults can’t!
While the Legacy Peak movie was not what I was expecting it to be, it was a movie that will entertain whoever watches it. It is perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon bit of entertainment.
