Moisturise your skin twice a day

But you can reduce it to two steps if you replace the physical exfoliator with a cleanser that contains salicylic acid, which is a chemical exfoliator. You will no longer scrub away the dead skin cells because the salicylic acid will dissolve them and it will remove even the residues inside the pores. The product will have two roles: to clean and to exfoliate your skin.

Apply tretinoin before bed

It is known that retinoids are products that prevent acne, tighten pores and combat the signs of sun exposure and aging. You can use a low-concentration retinol product to prevent blackheads. Make sure you discuss with your dermatologist to offer you a prescription for a tretinoin based skin care product because they can tell if this is the right treatment for you. It can be applied during nighttime, it will make your skin firmer, tighter and it will remove blemishes.
