Get A Pet
This might not be seen as a traditional hobby, but getting a pet can mean a new interest, a new love and it can mean new hobbies too. If you get a dog, for example, your new hobby could be walking or dog obedience training. Other pets will require you learning about them; you can learn to train rabbits and birds too and generally give you a new interest.
Volunteering your time is often more valuable to organizations and charities than donating money. If you can find a cause that interests you or that you are passionate about, set up a time where you can help them regularly. There are plenty of places always looking for volunteers, including animal shelters, soup kitchens, and children's hospitals and they're a great place to meet people as well as doing some good in the world.
