My Review of Courageous Legacy
It's been years since I watched the original Courageous movie. While parts of this one did remind me of the original movie, there were plenty of differences between the two movies to still make this one well worth watching. This movie was more focused on teaching fathers how to be fathers. It also showcased the value of being a man of integrity.
I mentioned in my review of Show Me the Father how my own relationship with my father was always strained. I spent more time wanting my father in my life than having him there. Even as an adult, I don't see him or talk to him nearly as much as I would like to. However, we have been trying to build a relationship, but when there is so much distance between you and your child, it's hard to form and maintain a relationship. I think this movie showcased well how important it is for fathers to be actively involved in their children's life.
I think this is a family movie well worth taking the time to watch. I also hope it inspires fathers all around the world to step up to the plate to be godly men.
