The reason this movie should be added to the Christian Easter movies to watch list is that it talks about forgiveness and salvation.
“Risen”
• WARNING: Violent depictions of war, fighting, execution, and the aftermath of war. • A Roman tribune, Clavius, is sent to investigate what happened following the execution of Jesus, and what he discovers is life-changing.
This Christian Easter movie is a movie about an unbelieving Roman tribune who witnessed the aftermath of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. It’s good to watch with a skeptic in hopes they may become a believer. It showcases Jesus’ commandment to love others.
“The Messiah: A Brickfilm”
This is a family Christian Easter movie worth adding to your to-watch list. This movie is geared toward kids ages 5-10. It provides an Easter perspective for kids and families to watch together. It showcases the Last Supper, trial and punishment, crucifixion, and resurrection.
