I look forward to watching all of the new Christmas movies I can each year. During Thanksgiving week, I tend to become a couch potato and binge-watch as many movies as I can. As a result, I was excited to get to watch the Christmas at the Cabin movie.

“Christmas at the Cabin” is the ultimate feel-good family Christmas movie of the season! Starring Todd Terry, Marianne Haaland, Corey Cannon, Sharon Oliphant, and Stacey Sheffield, “Christmas at the Cabin” delivers a touch of chaos and laughter, plenty of heart, and one truly unforgettable Christmas. My Review of the Christmas at the Cabin Movie
I was expecting to see more comedy in this movie based on the previews. It ended up being more of a serious kind of movie. However, even with that being said, it was a wholesome family-friendly movie fit for the season.
As a mom and a wife, I could relate to the main character’s feelings. I tend to place a lot of pressure on myself, too. As a result, I do tend to get snippy far more than I would like! Luckily, my family is not the least bit bashful about telling me about it.
But I have also made it extremely clear that there are honest-to-goodness times when I’m not realizing I’m falling into that mode. I try diligently to talk a lot less when I’m not feeling in the right headspace. However, Zeva and Del pick up on that and will force me to spit it out, whatever is bothering me. Sometimes that leads to an avalanche of emotional outpour.
I appreciated how they threw in Bible verses throughout the movie. I also like how everyone was willing to show grace.
The holiday season is a stressful time for many. For the longest time, I didn’t even want to do anything related to decorations, gifts, and even the Thanksgiving turkey feast my husband makes every year. I still don’t get overly excited about the commercialism around the holiday season!
This movie is a solid reminder that faith, family, and love can guide us through any storm. I feel it’s a nice, cozy movie to watch.

A cabin get away trip definitely sounds like a lot of fun. I have yet to do that, but maybe one day I will.
