I’m always looking for new and exciting movies. While An Unlikely Angel reminded me of another film but there were enough differences in it for me to jump at the chance to review it. An Unlikely Angel movie is a perfect fit for the times we live in now.

The movie is about Janie, workaholic who is falling apart at the thought of becoming a first-time mom. She whispers a small prayer for help and it’s answered in a very unlikely way when an angel intervenes and fast forwards her life. Janie is lucky enough to be given a second chance, but will she change before it’s too late?

My Review of An Unlikely Angel Movie

I could relate to Janie in An Unlikely Angel movie almost instantly. I do feel like I’m constantly juggling everything. I want to grow my blog, get the next promotion with my current job, and also still have time for my family.

That’s one of the main messages and reasons I created Sharing Life’s Moments. I want to help fellow women like myself to remember HOW to have time for the things they love the most in life and yet, still get other things they want without sacrificing personal relationships.

Janie, the main character, has a chance to see what her life would be like if she missed precious time with her family. By chasing the ultimate corporate ladder, she would be missing it for sure. We have become a materialist society in so many ways. It somewhat scares me how we are putting a priority on things over people all around.

I can’t stress how quickly a life can change. One simple accident in 2006 changed my life and perspective more than anything else I went through in my life. Then losing my mom to cancer in 2010 added fuel to that burning desire to make every moment count.

Make Every Effort to Make Every Moment Count

So, I make every effort to create lasting memories with my family and kids at least once a week. When we can, we go to local parks and take hikes together, watch movies, ride our ATVs together, or do something fun. But we make time for each other outside of electronics as we can. It pays to go back to the basics of family entertainment.

An Unlikely Angel movie showcases the power of second chances. Often God grants us second chances (or more) without us even realizing it. But if we diligently seek his word and pay attention to him, then we are less likely to miss the answered prayers.

Sometimes our answered prayers are not in the form we are expecting them to come. However, God makes all things work for the good. He already knows why were created in life.

This is a family-friendly movie filled with lots of opportunities for family discussions. Plus, viewers are reminded of the importance of evaluating what matters most in life.
