I’ve truly enjoyed the Angel movie releases we’ve gone to see, and each one has left a good impression. When we saw the preview for Solo Mio, it immediately caught our attention. It looked lighthearted, funny, and simply fun to watch. This feels like the perfect romance to enjoy this time of year when you just want something entertaining that makes you smile.

My Review of Solo Mio Movie

I was instantly interested in watching Solo Mio because Kevin James plays the lead role. I honestly cannot think of anything I have watched with him in it that I did not enjoy, and this movie did not disappoint.

There were definitely plenty of laughs throughout the film, though I will admit I expected even more. That said, the movie also weaves in some more serious moments that add depth to the storyline and give it a little more heart than just a straight comedy.

One thing that genuinely surprised me was the amount of drinking shown in the film. While all of the characters were adults and nothing inappropriate happened during those scenes, I was still caught off guard. Seeing that level of drinking portrayed in a film released by a faith based network was unexpected for me.

The romance itself was truly sweet. I have always believed that when one door closes, another better one can open if we are willing to step forward. This story beautifully reflects that idea, showing how disappointment can sometimes lead to something far better than we originally imagined.

Overall, it was a good movie to watch. I think you’ll enjoy it if you watch it.
