“God Bless Bitcoin” is an insightful movie that illuminates Bitcoin’s significance as a viable currency option for today’s economy and provides a comprehensive understanding of why it deserves serious consideration as a mainstream form of currency. I was eager to learn more about Bitcoin because I see it becoming a vital part of our future in some form or fashion.

My Thoughts on God Bless Bitcoin

God Bless Bitcoin Movie 2

The God Bless Bitcoin movie aims to explain why Bitcoin is a viable currency option that we should consider using. This documentary explores how Bitcoin could fix our broken money system. Brian and Kelly Estes are a couple on a mission to stop the government from being able to control our lives through money.

The biggest reason they feel Bitcoin is the answer to our economic crisis is that one Bitcoin in America equals one Bitcoin in Africa. The exchange rate of local currencies into Bitcoin fluctuates.

Just like everything else in life, there are positive aspects to our changing to Bitcoins. Using the currency everywhere we go and not having to pay to have a bank manage our funds is extremely wonderful. But I can’t help but feel like someone will still have to be in charge.

Also, you act as if this digital currency is more secure, but with the number of hackers we deal with and major companies having their data hacked, how can this really be any safer than the -American dollars we can store and hide in the safety of our homes?

Please note that the Bitcoin blockchain has never been hacked; only the exchanges have been hacked.  So, like American dollars, bitcoin is a bearer instrument, which means “he who holds it owns it.”  We need to protect our bitcoin just like we protect our dollars.  If you hide your money in your home, you can hide your Bitcoin in your home.  All you need is a ledger.  You can also memorize your recovery words and store your Bitcoin in your head.

The Bitcoin and Christianity

The Christian Post details more on the documentary concerning Bitcoin and religion. I didn’t feel the documentary covered this topic enough, but upon reviewing what The Christian Post had to add, I believe I may have missed some details.

However, personally, I still have reservations about our currency changing to Bitcoin. I fear it would be the first step toward The Mark that the Bible mentions. We have so many technological advances happening at a rapid pace. God Bless Bitcoin movie does provide some arguments that address the fact that Bitcoin is just another form of currency. But it’s a technological form of currency.

We already have smart rings, sunglasses, and microchips for animals. I fear that by agreeing to Bitcoin becoming our primary source of funds, the next and true way of obtaining those funds will be through a mark added to our bodies. And maybe, I’m letting my imagination run wild with that concept. However, when I contemplated what I would write for this blog post, it felt like it needed to be said.

I recommend you take advantage of watching the free God Bless Bitcoin movie and form your own opinions. We live in a world with free will. I welcome opinions and thoughts on this and any other topic I discuss. I am a firm believer that we all have the right to our own opinions. As I learn and grow, my opinions have changed over time. So, it’s still possible that I will see the value in using Bitcoin over our current currencies.
