Writing has always been something that I’ve loved doing. I have tried desperately install that same love of writing into my kids, but over the years we’ve tried various homeschool writing curriculum to only reach dead ends. When I was given the opportunity to review Bardsy Homeschool, I was eager to try it because it provides a different method than any other I’ve seen.

Bardsy Homeschool believes that creative writing supercharges every academic skill.
Storytelling isn’t extra-curricular, it’s trans-curricular. It not only bolsters your learner’s ability to absorb, process, retain and retrieve information across disciplines, it also increases their tenacity while tackling complex material, subject-specific vocabulary, and new concepts. Creative writing has even been proven to raise math and science performance.
The Bardsy Homeschool Method breaks storytelling down into two complementary steps: develop and assemble. This method is woven into our online tools to minimize struggle and make writing accessible and fun. Now, you can see this method in action with our online Super Character Toolkit.
This comprehensive kit includes:

My Review
I’m not sure who liked Bardsy Homeschool more! I had my kids give it a try, and I believe their favorite part of using the Bardy’s Story Spinner the most. This seemed to help them open up their creativity in unexpected way.
There is truly everything for every kind of student in this writing curriculum. There are engaging videos, printables for the hands-on learners, and Prospero the AI (artificial intelligence) writing coach!
The best thing is your kids can choose to do it all online. My kids are not a fan of pens and paper anymore. The fact that they can do everything online is a major plus in my book. I like how we can do round circles using the Bardy’s Story Spinner and create funny and memorable stories together.
I feel like this program is one well worth investing in for your homeschool students or even kids who are struggling with language arts in school. It’s affordable, and I believe it will more than pay for itself with the way it opens your child’s creative writing skillsets.

Do you feel your kids would like to enhance their creative writing skillsets with this online writing homeschool curriculum?
Thank you for posting about this. I will definitely be checking this out for myself and for my eldest grandchildren
Thanks for sharing. I think I get in the way of my own creativity far too often.
Wish I had something like this when I homeschooled my daughter 15 years ago.
Things have drastically changed on the homeschooling front since even 12 years ago when I started out too. The more popular it becomes the more I see more amazing things that help with making homeschooling fun.

Thanks for all the info, I homeschool my children.
One thing that I love about homeschooling is the flexibility to try different approaches and resources until you find the one that works best. Thanks for sharing!
I agree that is one of the best things about homeschooling.

I love the character creation kit. It looks like a lot of fun. It’s so hard to get our daughter interested in writing. She starts strong, then just wanders off.
