As a person who strives to have a daily devotional time in my day, using Our Daily Bread devotionals, I was eager to see how the CSB Jesus Daily Bible would help me read the entire Bible in a year. That has been something I have wanted to do ever since I was a young child. But I have yet to accomplish that mission.

My CSB Jesus Daily Bible Review

I love the concept behind the CSB Jesus Daily Bible. The Bible gives you a full schedule breakdown of what to read each week to finish reading the Bible in a week. I personally like the fact that there are no set dates on these suggested readings. This allowed me to feel like I could start my year anytime.

This Bible is nice. But it does have a few flaws. The font is extremely hard to read because it is so tiny. The description clearly states that the font is only 9.5-point in size. I did miss this detail when I read the description of the Bible. I wish they had a large print version of this Bible available because I would grab it quickly.

The pages are not able to withstand anything but a gentle touch. My book arrived (traveled during nasty weather!!) damaged on some pages. While flipping through the book, I noticed that the pages were easily distorted on me. That was a bit disheartening for me because I can sometimes be clumsy when reading physical books. So, I can’t recommend this Bible to a teenager or someone like me.

But I do love the breakdown of the schedule, the weekly recaps, and the weekly introductions. Those factors have made this Bible worth getting to review.
