Lost in a Mountain in Maine Movie Review 2

My Review of Lost on a Mountain in Maine Movie

I have always been a fan of inspirational-style movies based on true stories. This one didn’t disappoint.

I do feel this movie is better suited for watching at home. But for those who liked the movie Cast Away with Tom Hanks, you’ll appreciate this movie as well. It is a similar-style movie but based on a kid beating the odds and surviving on his own.

All I can say is that, as an adult, I do not believe I would have survived the elements this kid went through. I am not skilled at surviving in the wilderness, and I certainly do not fish (or eat fish, for that matter).

I was amazed by how calm the parents remained throughout the entire ordeal. However, as a mother, I do know when my children are in trouble and need me. I also know what my kids are capable of doing. I have complete faith in them and in God’s ability to protect them according to his will.

I feel that Lost on a Moutain in Maine will bless you and make you glad you took the time to watch it. You’ll gain a sense of community and so much more. You’ll see God’s work in action like nothing else.
