My Review of Crazy Joy Book

Crazy Joy is a fantastic book that will make you take a funny yet hard look at your method of gaining joy in your life. She provides many life reminders that many people overlook and tend to forget.

She adds just enough humor to keep the book entertaining. She knows when to make it serious as well. She is honest about her journey to obtaining crazy joy in her life.

There have been plenty of moments in my life where I’ve had to fight to keep joy active in my life. I love how she pointed out that we can “retrain our brains to expect more from the world around us.” For the longest time I didn’t think I deserved to be loved or to love someone else. I wasted tons of time over my traumatic events I’ve endured, but then one day I realized I deserved it all just as much as the next person.

I choose to make every moment count in life. I strive to do that daily, and even though I do that, this book was still an excellent reminder of HOW to keep that joy alive in my life.

I LOVED this portion of Crazy Joy book because I have such a hard time making friendships. However, I do believe I’ve been stepping out of my comfort zone in the past couple of weeks, and I THINK I may have been blessed with finding “my people.” I’ve found women who seem to “get me.”

I would recommend this book to anyone who doesn’t remember the last time they experienced absolute joy in their life. While I wouldn’t call it a guide per se, I would call it an open discussion opportunity to help you create your path to joy in your life.
