The Jesus Music movie came out and I was curious about it. When I got the chance to review it, I decided it was worth taking the time to do it. I took my youngest son with me. The Jesus Music review is quite a tribute to the Christian singers who revamped how we listen to Christian music.

My Review of The Jesus Music
I fully expected to be bored while watching this movie because I’m not a huge fan of documentary-style movies. However, this movie ended up capturing my attention. It was interesting how Christian music has been revamped through the years. I was surprised to hear how much controversy Christian rock music has received.
It was fun to fully learn Amy Grant’s story and journey. She is one of my favorite singers. I felt like we were having a one on one conversation and she was giving me an inside scoop.
This documentary showcased how much Christian music has helped to shape our world. Music does speak to a person’s soul and has the power to move us. I loved learning from these artists.
My son didn’t enjoy this movie at all. So, I wouldn’t recommend watching it with your kids. It’s not overly family-friendly. However, it does share some of our society’s history and I feel it gave him some powerful lessons worth him learning.
