Being a parent has always been one of the toughest jobs I’ve ever taken on. For me personally, I sometimes wonder who taught who more. I did not fully realize how much parenting advice is truly in the Bible. “Fighting for the Soul of Your Child” by Jimmy and Karen Evans is a powerful guide for parents seeking to nurture and raise their child in today’s ever evolving world.

My Review of “Fighting for the Soul of Your Child” Book

Becoming a parent wasn’t something I was ever expecting to become. Yet, God richly blessed me with being a mother to four kids. Through raising our kids, I feel like I have gained more from them than they have from me. I certainly feel like I’ve grown up right along beside my kids. I haven’t always felt like I was handling this parenting journey correctly.

I know I’m not alone in thinking along those lines. While the Bible has provided plenty of bits of guidance. There have been several times I’ve been left with more questions than answers on what all I’m reading. That’s why I feel the “Fighting for the Soul of Your Child” book is a resource all parents should have at their fingertips. It’s a wonderful helpful addition to the Bible.

This book covers a wide range of important topics for parents. This book helps parents to prepare for the battle of saving the souls of our children. Then it dives into ways parents can be actively involved in the fight. It also covers important aspects of raising our kids including discipling advice and how to ensure I kids gain the right values in life.

Overall, I feel it’s a book parents can benefit from reading. My kids are older, but I still found ways to make improvements in our parenting styles.
