First, DO NOT take my measurements to heart!! I am an old-school cook and do NOT measure my seasonings. But the idea behind this recipe is inspired by Princess Pinky Girl's Crockpot Coca-Cola Pulled Pork recipe. We tweaked ours a bit to add seasonings we liked. But she included measurements in her recipe, and she shares recipes more than we do. ;)
- First, we mixed up our dry ingredients.
- Then I cut slits throughout the shoulder butt and removed excess fat from it.
- From there, I covered the shoulder butt with the seasoning mix.

- I added a bit of Coca-Cola to the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Then I put shoulder butt in the slow cooker.

- Then I added the Coca-Cola from the side of the shoulder butt to keep the seasoning on it. I did NOT cover it; I only added Coca-Cola till it almost covered it completely.
- Then I cooked it on low mode for 9 hours.

- Then I took it out, shredded it, and removed all but a bit of the juice.
- Then I added one bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ sauce and cooked it for another hour.
