Over the review period, we found that my own public speaking skills could improve with Forbrain® from Sound for Life LTD. The Forbrain® is a tool that was designed to help with many different things.
Forbrain® is a device that has been designed to help people with three main issues. It helps with attention spans, speech impediments, learning disabilities, pervasive development disorder, and memory. The Forbrain® uses bone conduction which makes one hear their voice ten times faster and clearer than otherwise. By using this tool for 15-20 minutes a day, you will strengthen your auditory reception.
You can buy one of these for yourself for $299.00.
I decided to give the Forbrain® a try since I struggle with staying focused on tasks at hand. I am also not a very confident speaker. I have always been told that I talk way too fast when I’m trying to do any kind of public speaking. I like the fact that it’s like a microphone because that helps a person get used to wearing one in public as well. It also helps one to gets to NOT screaming into the mic to be heard.
Since I want to get into doing more online videos and make courses online, I felt that this was an item that I would benefit from using the most. When I first started using it, I was talking about a woman jacked up on way to much sugar and caffeine mixed (which I wasn’t.) It was funny at first. Then I had a heck of a time reaching a reasonable public speaking voice.
I can see how it helps a person to be able to focus their attention more. It has a way of forcing one to hear only their voice compared to everything else around them. It’s almost like you’ve been placed into your own personal echo chamber without the added pitch that hurts your ears.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually liked this tool. I think the more I use it the more I’m going to see positive differences. I may feel enough like a pro that I’ll brave doing Facebook Lives. Then I may get my own personal course fully complete too. Nothing like having stage fright stand in the way of progress! I love that I have a tool that can help me to overcome that issue now.
What’s really nice, is I’m not the only family member who is going to benefit from owning this device. I plan on having Zeva use this as she learns to read more. I know it will help her to hear her mistakes in a quicker fashion. It will also help her to be able to hear how she sounds when she’s reading out loud.
