I feel I can never have enough resources for helping my kids to learn new concepts at my fingertips. Did you know Educeri ……. Educeri a division of DataWORKS has lessons for grade K-12 for a wide variety of subjects available with their Educeri Lesson Subscription Service? I wouldn’t have known about this wonderful program had I not had the chance to review it through the Homeschool Review Crew. I’m excited to have the chance to tell you more about it.
Educeri is a program that helps parents and teachers alike to teach grades K-12 a wide range of topics. There are well over 1,000 lesson plans to choose from. They have set these lessons up according to the federal Common Core State Standards. They have strived to ensure that they meet the standards for all states. Although their primary focus is English and mathematics, they do offer some courses in science and history. As the demand increases, they will be adding more courses in other topics.
Every lesson comes with a printable student handout that can be accessed and shared in a variety of ways. These handouts allow students to have additional hands-on work.
You can get this program for either $7.00 a month or $75.00 a year. Right now you can take advantage of a 30-Day trial without using any credit cards to try it out yourself.
I was eager to try this out primarily to help Delbert with his Language Arts. It has certainly helped him to improve his Language Arts score from a very LOW C to a high B. These lessons are simple for him to follow along with. The worksheets help him to work on the material as I teach it to him using their PowerPoint style of teaching. The lessons are not long and are easy to follow for both him and me.
I was grateful that we had this program to help make his Language Arts lessons more engaging for him.
The topics are EASY to find. It just requires a few simple clicks of the mouse. The topics are uncomplicated to navigate to due to their bold simple to read title covers.
I had hoped this program would cover more topics for Science and History. I do believe I would have used this program more if there were lessons for those topics. To their credit, there are three History and one Science in the 7th-grade levels. There were none for Delbert though.
I could also request to have more lessons added, but I would have to wait until they had a strong enough need to have them added. Honestly, I can understand them choosing this method to determine what is needed rather than wasting funds and energy into producing content that wouldn’t serve their members.
Overall, I do find this program to be worth getting if you children struggle with Language Arts and Math. There is a vast amount of lessons available to help with these concepts. I wouldn’t say that I could trust using it solely, but it would be a solid online supplemental program to add to a piece of curriculum. It is cheaper than a tutor and can be accessed 24/7 as many times as needed.
