Spyro has been an active part of my family since he was seven weeks old. He has been my sidekick since then. I can’t express how much he means to me enough. He’s my support system and my pal!
I have teamed up with Grace Hill media to promote the new movie Dog Days that is hitting local theaters on August 8th. I can’t wait to watch it with my son on his birthday with him if all goes well!
Every Dog Has a Story
Just like humans, every dog has a story. I saw the ad for him on Facebook and his picture screamed at me that he was the puppy for me. My husband and I had done LOADS of foster care for many puppies prior to him in hopes of finding the ideal dog for me. None of the others fit! I KNEW he would though with utmost confidence.
When I got him he was definitely UNDER 8 weeks old and full of worms. His coat was dab, but he looked at me with his BIG brown eyes from his TINY body with so much hope and he was ready to love. He has made sure he’s showered me with complete love since day one. I’ve given him plenty of it too in return!
Prior to me working outside the home, he sat on my desk keeping me company all day long as I worked. Now he anxiously awaits my return from work. When I get home he greets with me so much enthusiasm it’s like he’s going to bust. He’s quick to let me know he’s eager for me to get in the position of being able to cuddle with him.
He is truly a life saver for me in many ways. He helps keep my emotions in check when they start to go haywire. They claim that when a person with anxiety scratches an animal back, it helps them to calm down, and I have to say it works! I am so thankful that I have him as a family member.
