I’m not sure if I’ve made this clear, but horses are a huge passion of mine. I have spent 23 years of my life riding and training horses. Growing up, I had a crush on Luke Perry. When Gracehill Media offered me the chance to review the movie Race to Win I was over the moon. It was a wonderful combination of Luke Perry, horses, and movie entertainment all rolled into one.
About Race to Win Movie
After losing her father, young women must find the strength to face her fears and compete in the race of her life or her family will lose everything.
Luke Perry, the father, passed away with a heart attack almost in the beginning of the movie. I was disappointed to see that, but he made appearances again throughout the movie so it turned out to be okay. The daughter, his wife, and sister-in-law are doing all they can to save their home from being taken over by the bank. They all put a lot of faith in the daughter being able to win a barrel racing championship winnings in order to save the farm.
It is a movie filled with a good bit of drama. However, it proves that if you keep the faith things are taken care of in God’s due time.
It maintained Zeva and Delbert’s attention. Zeva couldn’t wait to watch it the next day in her room. It’s safe to say that it’s a good movie for the entire family to watch.
