I couldn’t get into reading in November to save my life. However, I must be making up for it in December because I have devoured quite a few books. I hope you enjoy reading about these books.
This book had my attention from the beginning. I loved the fact that it was a Christian novel, but yet it didn’t portray the characters as saints. This is a book that portrayed how hard it is to remain clean and some of the consequences that can happen as a result of sexual sinning.
This book taught a bit about relationships and how we should handle them. It also showcased the value and strength of true love. I related well to the main characters. The author did a fabulous job of giving every character’s points of views too.
I am eager to read the second book in this series when I can get my hands on it.
This book didn’t grab my attention from the beginning. In fact, it took me quite a while to get interested in reading it. However, I couldn’t just ignore it and NOT read it. It was one of those stories that were a bit long and drawn out. Yet, at the same time, it was such a compelling story that it made me want to find out what happened.
This book will make you cry, rejoice, and praise God for miracles. It showcased the true value of friendship and love. The ending hurt and is a T-total tear-jerker, but it’s still lovely all at the same time.
If you can handle reading tearjerkers that have substance then you’ll savor this book.
This was a sweet romantic story to read. I loved how the main character wasn’t some gorgeous woman. The author made it so that I could relate to the main character even more. I liked how the only one who had an issue with her looks was HER.
In my experience, most women are more self-conscious about their looks than men truly care. True men look beyond the way a woman looks and sees the heart of a woman. Plus, they fall in love with who they are as a person.
I expected this book to be suspenseful and have some type of deep dark secret in it just because it was a James Patterson book. It was suspenseful and a fun quick read. It went in a different direction than I expected. I’m confident that if you like mystery and romance you’ll have fun reading this book.
I was sorely disappointed to see the Rose Harbor series come to an end. Yet, Debbie did a fabulous job of closing out this series. Sweet Tomorrows is a story about two women and their journey to healing and love. It’s neat how the two stories are pretty well intertwined together in unique ways.
Even though I am sad to see this series end, I must say it ended on a wonderful note. If you haven’t read this series yet I would recommend that you get it from Amazon now.
I hope you found a book worth reading. I do read a wide range of books. This month I read more than average due to it being our kids’ winter break. On average I read about four to five books a month.
What have you been reading? Does any of these books interest you?
